Thinking about purchasing a Marriott timeshare. Can a resale really be about 1%of the original purchase price? - timeshare resale companies

The company has units of participation in this special station for $ 2,800. Marriott will sell for $ 35,000. If you buy don 't directly from Marriott, they still take all the benefits claim?

First his math is not so good. 1% $ 35,000 $ 350's. 2800 / 35000 is 8%.

Timeshares can be restrictive and often very high maintenance costs. Many regret the purchase. If (and this is a super strong when) I'm studying, I would be in the resale market (much) less expensive.

Before making a purchase - at the company are for the resale of a copy of the CC & R. This is the document that should explain everything that goes with the timeshare. Sometimes they wait until you see for rent - for a contingency in the contract that you or your lawyers and the opportunity to examine prior to the close and yes, sometimes people. It is sold at very reasonable prices. But take a look first and foremost, get a lawyer before the contract and closing involved.

I think people do not read the question before he answered. The answer is YES, can be purchased for under $ 2800 tan and so on people are buying for the wrong reasons. The benefits are the same as those made for the property.

If you are considering purchasing a timeshare unit, usually the sales units are much lower than the prices of all other timeshare companies. Only with the underlying legal agreements, that goes with this agreement to be careful.
